CMD, which has always been predisposed to market innovations and developments, has long developed its own technology for the production of reed pack seals.

In the beginning it developed cylindrical seals consisting of alternating layers of stainless steel and graphite, later, following the rapid evolution of triple eccentric butterfly valves, it expanded production to lamellar seals for that application.

The production of lamellar seals has consequently developed to be suitable in various applications using metal layers and so-called soft materials of various compositions depending on the physical and chemical characteristics of the contacting fluid.
