CMD manufactures braided gaskets (or packing) in various materials suitable for a wide range of applications. They are made of soft, flexible, resilient material to be, when finished, inserted into an annular space or packing to ensure the sealing of a rotating or reciprocating device such as pumps or valves.

Among the types of gaskets, the braid is the one that draws the most remote origin precisely because of its ability to adapt to the chamber that contains it.
